About the Association of Hospital Chaplains
The RCAM- AHC is an association of Roman Catholic Clergy and Religious Brothers/ Sisters assigned as Chaplains and Chaplaincy Ministers of care in the hospitals found within the area covered by the Archdiocese of Manila.

Vision
The RCAM-Ministry on Health Care is one with the Archdiocese of Manila in its Vision: A people called by the Father in Jesus Christ to become a community of persons with fullness of life witnessing to the Kingdom of God by living the Paschal Mystery in the power of the Holy Spirit with Mary as companion.
Mission
To provide collaborative pastoral and spiritual care services for the patients and those who care for them, to organize opportunities for growth and development of Chaplains, Ministers and Partners, and to provide meaningful liturgy towards building a holistic and Christ-centered hospital community.
Goals
- To provide comprehensive pastoral and spiritual care to patients, physicians, personnel and partners.
- To commit itself to a collaborative and continuing professional pastoral and spiritual formation and development for Chaplains, Chaplaincy Ministers and Partners, ad intra.
- To commit itself to the General Directives of the Catholic Church on Health Care and to the Ethical Standards set on Hospital Chaplaincies.
- To coordinate and collaborate with other Church apostolate and ministries and with government and non-government health care and charitable institutions in the planning and delivery of programs for the benefits of the sick, especially the poor, and all healthcare workers, ad extra.
Core Values
- To conduct formation seminars / programs to hospital employees and other healthcare institutions—outside the RCAM-AHC membership.
- To conduct formation seminars/ programs in the vicariate and parish levels, establishing and developing ministries involved in the healthcare apostolate.
- To establish linkages between Hospital Chaplaincies and parishes as well as other health care organizations/charitable institutions.
